Killing Winter Blues

The winter is our longest season. I admit I don't like it. I love that when Christmas comes, the ground is covered in a beautiful white blanket. Other than that, I don't care for winter. You have to come up with things to keep your mind from going crazy.

This month we went swimming,

watched Kate and Grace play church ball,

spent time with cousins,

did a few crazy things just because,

read letters from Ryan,

and made a few messes!!

Thankfully, winter is coming to an end! Can't wait for Spring!!

Trips

Dustin goes out of town regularly for work. He will have the kids take turns going so he can have 1 on 1 time with them. This trip he took all the girls. They went to St George. They were able to go swimming, to the park, and it's always fun sleeping in a hotel!

While he was on a n adventure with the girls, I had the boys. Britten has always loved the temple since our tour of the Provo City Center Temple open house. He talked about it nonstop. And, he still remembers it. It's kind of weird. For a few days he kept asking if we could go back. I told him we could go visit downtown and stop and see the temple. 

It was Friday night, so Aaron had the night off. We went and got some dinner, toured Temple Square, and then went into the the newly renovated Church History Museum. Britten loved it! Aaron didn't show much emotion, but I got the feeling he was enjoying his time out too! We are so blessed to live near so much church history!!
