We’re all doing Zoom church for group meetings before we get to go to in person church. He’s out in his church clothes playing in the snow. At least he doesn't have to wear a mask!!!
Monday Night Madness at AllStar Bowling. Glad we can still do things as a family in this crazy time. And find some crazy good deals! Unlimited bowling, unlimited arcade, unlimited attractions( bumper cars, rock wall, laser tag) $20 per person! Throw in some pizza for dinner and. Totally doable! Don’t forget your mask and lots of hand sanitizer! The nice thing is numbers of visitors are low. 😷🎳
Getting away with friends was just the recharge I needed! Shopping, chick flicks and food all in the most beautiful setting possible! I traveled to McCall, ID with my friends Rachel, Kari, and Jenny. We stayed at Kari's parent's cabin. The air was clean. We spent time just relaxing and enjoying each other's company. I'm so grateful for their friendship and that I have neighbors around me that I can rely on.
We visited Farm Town in Grantsville this evening. It was just what I needed!! This cute little farm offered a pumpkin patch, 3 corn mazes, hay bale slides, corn hole, train rides, pony rides, a corn pit, animals, and lots of food!! So happy something like this came local to our little community!! We love supporting local!
Their faces say it all! Little Baby Boy Merritt is coming in February! I’m still not sure how I feel about this whole “Grandma” thing, but I’ve heard it’s more awesome than having your own kids! And having my own kids has been the best thing ever! Congratulations, Aaron and Angel!
Because 7 year-olds should have “gool’s”...It’s things like this that remind me why I have social media. I want to remember everything about my kids, and my life with them. The memory on Facebook that popped up today was my 6 year-old Becca finding a McDonald’s Monopoly game piece for a medium French fry. She said it “was a new, wonderful opportunity” for her because she had never had a medium French fry before. It’s things like this I never want to forget! Britten’s goals at 7, and that this same kid told me that he knew what his bum looked like because he climbs on the countertop in the bathroom to see it in the mirror. You really can’t make this stuff up! I want to remember the French fries. I want to remember the “gool’s”. I want to remember the crazy things they tell me!
We weren't sure if we would still have a dance with this pandemic going on . I’m so glad they had a dance. It’s in the parking lot and every couple must stay in their stall. And, ear buds for the silent disco after noise ordinances kick in. They’ll still make it fun! Thanks for taking my Katie Bug and making her wear a dress, Tyler! Good things still happening!!
