Britten is 4!!

Britten insisted on a Minion birthday theme this year. He also requested a party. I wasn't quite sure because he really doesn't have a ton  of friends his age. But, he loves the little neighbor kids who are older than him and I was so happy they would attend and make this little guy's day!! Thanks, Ananbelle, Logan, and Brayden!!

We had cake and ice cream as a family the night of his birthday.

The next day, a party! Anabelle gave him a disc shooter, flarp, a coloring book, and candy.

Logan and Brayden gave him a Nerf gun with a laser!

They all took home some candy and awesome glasses!!

New Year's Eve and The New Year

It was our first New Year's Eve party as a family. Is it weird that my kids have never stayed up to ring in the New Year? I think it is. Honestly we have always done an activity with friends, so our kids stayed home and went to bed. Our older boys don't date, or hang out with friends, so they are home, or at work.

 We decided it was time. We watched the ball drop, we got hats, noise makers, and poppers. They kids loved it- as much as bigger kids can. I guess we missed the magical age of enthusiasm (Grace went to bed because she does not do late)...but we did it. And, we'll do it again!
