❤️❤️❤️ I’m grateful for the women in my life. May we all choose to build, protect, and love. ❤️❤️❤️

Grace Is Engaged!!

Image
Well, my world is quickly changing...🥴. I’m not sure if I can keep up with all of this! Congratulations, Grace and Wyatt! You win this week of “Who Can Make Mom Feel Old And Confused?” 😂😂

The Garden-2020

Image
This year we tried some new things! Corn, cucumbers, and broccoli. We were skeptical about the corn growing in such a small space. So far so good...🤞🏻 corn is my favorite! 🌽 🥒 🥦

Becca As She IS

Image
This picture makes me giggle because it describes my Becca the best way I know how. She wanted to eat before the gym, so she made herself some eggs. And she either read somewhere, or watched a life hack 😂,that the hole in the pan has a purpose. But quite possible she thought it up all on her own. Lol She marches to the beat of her own drum, and I love her for it!

Kate- Softball 2020

Image
Running  from work to pick up Britten from Kate’s game to take him to practice. Kate happened to be up batting. She hit a double, stole 3rd, and slid into home on a bad pitch. Little tender mercy for this mama!  Good job Kate!!

Dustin Is Slipping!!

Image
Quarantine is making the man I married soft. What is this madness?! I used to wonder what my life would be like with a chill Dustin. But, it’s a little too much for me at the moment... #2020isgettingweirderandweirder   #youdontjustleaveyourfingerprintsallover

Britten- Baseball 2020 The Yankees

Image
Someone played catcher this game! He was so excited, but I figured the excitement wouldn’t last too long. That’s a hard position. Britten struggles with hard things. They let him be catcher for 3 innings. He was excited every time! I asked him how he liked it. “I loved it!” he said. I don’t know if I’ll ever figure this kid out. He made a couple catches, and was stopping the ball by the end. He also got 3 singles. Yay for baseball! ⚾️

A Noisy Home-Nothing Better

Image
Our home is down to 3 kids. It’s a weird feeling. I haven’t had to cook for 5 since 2005. It’s learning something over again. But, tonight, I have all my kids home for a moment. And I love it!!! We watched a movie in the back. And there were even some arm wrestles!!

The Hoverboard Makes Everything Easier

Image
I told Britten to get in the shower. He came out a few minutes later saying he forgot clean clothes. Forgot clothes, but remembered to bring the hover board with him in the bathroom...🤷‍♀️ the things you see as a mom sometimes! 😂😂

Sunsets Are My Favorite! Britten's Too!

Image
We were driving home from Britten’s baseball game last night. When we came to the lake, the sunset caught his eye. “Mom! That’s so cool!” I should’ve stopped then, but you know, always busting to the next thing. It was beautiful over the lake. As I kept driving, I was thinking how great it is that I have a kid who loves the sunset. I told him we’d go watch it when we got home. So we drove to the part of our neighborhood where the view was unobstructed, and we watched the sun go down. I should’ve stopped at the lake! It was gorgeous! I’m just grateful I took the moment to sit with my son who loves the sun as much as I do! Enjoy those little things!! 🌅

Mesquite 2020

Image
I don’t know what it is, but when I go home, I forget to take pictures. We spent the weekend in Mesquite, NV visiting my mom and Robyn. My mom moved a little over 6 months ago from Las Vegas. My family’s been in Vegas since 1989, so it’s kind of weird. But it’s quiet in Mesquite, no drive by shootings 😬- that’s what sped up the move. But even though the house is new(and beautiful! She was able to build a brand new townhome that’s perfect for them), some things never change: 1) the heat- boy was it hot! When the sun would go down, you were thankful it was cooler. Then you’d find out it was still 100* 😑😂😂 2) fun family gatherings- we spent a day at Ben and Audrey’s swimming, BBQing, and visiting, Dave and his boys came over for an evening of games, and Alissa and her family happened to be in St George and came for church and brunch 3) activities with Aunt Robyn- she introduced Britten to Perler Beads 4) playing Grandma’s piano- I taught myself to play it and love seeing my kids...
