Merritt Memories

We were able to take the kids through the Jordan River Temple today. This temple has been the temple Dustin and I have attended since we were married. It was nice to have it open again. We have enjoyed visiting other temples, but we will come home to this one!

Spring is officially here if you can catch bugs in your underwear, and things are blooming! I did something new this month too. I sold a house! I'm pretty excited. I'm learning new things. It's slow learning, but I'm learning. When you make a sale, you get to put a red sticker on the plat map. I've watched several be added on. today was my day!!

My boys told me they hate school dances and they would not go to them. Well, Aaron's story changed a couple weeks ago. Dustin and I were on a date with friends. We were waiting for our movie to start, and I got a text that said, " BTW, I'm going to prom." I was confused and looked who it was from. It was form Aaron. I showed Dustin. He was as confused as I was. Aaron has never talked about liking anyone, so I was absolutely curious! Her name is Angel and they have been friends since jr high. He knew how he wanted to ask her, he just needed some help. This was how he asked her: Then he filled her bedroom with dozens of red SOLO cups filled with candy. She said yes! Grace's date, Kayden, asked her to prom by filling her room with kisses that ask the question, "Will you go to prom with me?" We love chocolate in our house! It hass been years since I was able to go to an award assembly in the middle of the day. But, my new job allows that to be a possibility. Kate was nominated for Student of The Month in her PE class. She works hard and she's been focusing on being more active lately. I guess it has shown in her school class as well. Good job, Kate!
