Christmas 2007

Merry Christmas!!!

We had such a good Christmas! Santa found our house this year, I told him to make it a small Christmas, but it seemed to turn out to be a big one. We were a little scared when Santa thought he had not gotten Aaron all he planed, but thank goodness for Mrs. Claus she's always prepared! Christmas Eve we had our annual gift to Jesus. We had Grandpa Russ and Grandma Lori over. After, we had yummy treats! We watched the Joy to the World DVD put out by the church. Aaron decided to leave Santa some carrots. He thought it was a good idea for Santa to go on a diet. Before bed, the kids opened up their pajamas.

Ryan was happy that he finally got the Long Shot Nerf gun! He also received a spy briefcase and Spider-man 3 walkie-talkies. Mom and Dad got him Speed stacks and a ticket to a Jazz game. Brother and sisters got him Legos and Lincoln Logs. He got a Air Hog from Grandma Lori and Grandpa Russ. And Galactic Heroes from Grandma Nelson. I know he got more, but I can't recall.

Aaron wanted a skateboard! He got it! He also got a jazz ticket. Dustin got one as well.

They can all go together! He wanted the game Apples to Apples too. Santa forgot, but not Mrs. Clause! He also got the Nerf Big Bad Bow! All morning long him and his brother were having a battle. His brothers and sisters gave him the Storm Trooper Blaster. He was very excited. As you can see, he likes guns and weapons (like father, like son)! He also got an Air Hog and Galactic Heroes. I know there's more, that's what I get for writing this blog 2 weeks later.

Grace had a Barbie and Polly Pocket Christmas. Santa brought her a Snow White Barbie and Baker Barbie. He thought she would like a cash register too. That girl likes to shop! She was really excited to get the big Polly Pocket lady where you can do her nails and hair. Her brothers and sisters gave her more Career Barbie and a Ken doll! This was needed. She and her friends would pretend another barbie doll was the husband. It really bothered Mom, I know they had no clue about two girls kissing! Grandma and Grandpa gave her a book and Princess Polly pockets. They completed her collection with Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella. Mom and Dad got her something too! I just don't remember!

Kate had a Dora Christmas, and was she excited! Everytime she opened something she just screamed, "Dora, Dora!" She was happy to get her Dora skates, helmet, and dress up from Santa. Brothers and sisters got her Polly Pocket ponies. Mom and Dad got her LPS toys. She loves those. Grandma got her a Dora Mermaid that "turns into a human" she says!

Becca got a new kitchen, kitchen toys, and chef clothes! Mom and Dad got her a new baby doll. Brothers and Sisters got her a Little People store. Grandma and Grandpa got her a bathtub for her baby doll and a new Care Bear.

Alissa's family had us for Christmas this year. they were excited to open it. The girls loved their new slippers and the boys liked their Spider-man t-shirts. She gave us a new game and a FHE kit. We are excited to try both! My mom gave us a fun game and a neat book.

Dustin scored big! Our old TV broke, so he got himself a new 52" plasma screen and surround sound system. He got some new tools and clothes too.

I got a new vacuum! Yea!! The kids gave me one of my favorite movies, The Forgotten Carols by Micheal McLean. I also got an under cabinet CD/radio player! I was excited. I got a couple of new scrap books as well.

All in all we had a good Christmas. We were excited for the presents, but we do know the true reason we celebrate. Jesus is the Reason for the Season! We are grateful for His birth, His life, and His Resurrection. We hope you all enjoyed this year's holiday season!!

The pictures are really cute! After the first few I was a little concerned that you would make your kids get dressed and have their hair done before opening presents, but then I saw a few pj pictures!
The music is easy- just click on the play launcher button on my music, then you can make yours. You have to copy the code they give you on your page. You have to click on the customize and then add another page element, then I did the java hotmail script one, and have no title, but just put it the body. The friends is super easy! Just click on add a page element, then the link list and add each address. If you change your background it will delete your elements, so make sure you write the addresses down or have them somewhere you can refer back to. Also, on the friend link- you have to but www. if you don't it won't work. Hopefully this makes sense. The backgrounds are Pyzam, you can click on my page on the word Pyzam and there are TONS of different pages- really cute and fun ones! Good Luck!
