Grace is 14!

Image
When a young girl turns 14 in the LDS faith, it means she can now attend the church dances! I am so excited for this girl!! I have some of the best memories of my church dances! This girl is a rock star! She has grown so much in the past couple years. I love her ability to tell people exactly what she feels. It took me forever to learn that! She is a hard worker and very responsible. She reminds me of so many things-sometimes, it's annoying. But, I know I need it because I forget everything.  She is loving 8th grade! She has straight As again. She is struggling in journalism. I hope she finds out that she will like it. The girl is a math queen though. And, she loves her cooking class! Grace is my lifeline at home. She reads me well and will step up when she sees I'm frustrated, or just have no energy anymore. This has been a long year emotionally for me! I love her and all that she is! Grace's Favorites color: turquoise  food: McGriddles subject: ...

Aaron Turns 16

My kids are all growing too fast! I really don't like it, but I know they are having the time of their lives! I remember growing up and how much I looked forward to venturing out on my own. Aaron is officially 16! Dustin won't let him drive, so no license. He does have his permit. No dates, yet. i hope that changes. I don't understand why my boys refuse to ask girls out on a date. It makes me feel like they hate socializing, but I know that's not true. He did get a job. He's working with Ryan at McDonald's. Of course, he hates it, but it's a job. He keeps telling me he's going to quit, but hasn't yet. He asked for money for his birthday. that seems to be popular the older they get. He went to lunch with Grandma Lori. He chose American Burger. It's local hamburger joint. The boys seem to really like it. He asked for money from her as well.  We celebrated with cake and ice cream. My kids are pretty easy to please. Another year on the b...
