I'm Trying Hard to Not Forget

"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will – to your surprise – miss them profoundly..."

It seems like yesterday:

"Send that note to the friend you’ve been neglecting; give your child a hug; give your parents a hug; say “I love you” more; always express your thanks. Never let a problem to be solved become more important than a person to be loved. Friends move away, children grow up, loved ones pass on. It’s so easy to take others for granted, until that day when they’re gone from our lives and we are left with feelings of 'what if' and 'if only.' Said author Harriet Beecher Stowe, 'The bitterest tears shed over graves are for words left unsaid and deeds left undone.' "

Thanks Pres. Monson!!

Time goes way too fast!!!

FIND JOY IN THE JOURNEY!!!!

So true. I need to practice more of enjoying the moment, rather then wishing for the future. Thanks for sharing. I love you!

That was fun seeing pics of the kids when they were little. Isn't it funny how much you forget what they looked like.

Hey, I was catching up on your other posts. Just wanted to say you are AMAZING. Don't forget it. You are too quick to short change your self. Being a mom is the most challenging job out their and you have flown through it with flying colors. You are the envy of us all. So much patience. I honestly feel if you are an accomplished mother it is better than being accomplished at anything else. It is our purpose. It is what makes us everything that we are.
