LOA, UTAH
They annual Taylor reunion was on Memorial Day weekend. We were able to go this year. We had such a good time. The kids were a little sad, because we did not go to the "Barn." Once we got there they forgot how disappointed they were. They were just happy to see their cousins. Everybody was there this year, except Alissa and her family. James is on his mission, and Sydnee had a church history tour she was on.
Everybody arrived on Friday. We just hung out and talked. Saturday is when the real fun started. We woke up ate breakfast, then everyone got ready to paintball.
Aaron and Hailey were excited. Here's a picture of them all geared up. They played for almost 2 hours. We did not have any injuries this year! Well, I take that back. Our brother-in-law, Christian, his brother Ian and friend Clay came and joined us. At the end, they took off all their gear, and told everyone they could shoot at them. They were covered in welts.Once everyone came back from paintball, we had our treasure hunt. The kids were excited. We made sure we hid the clues really well this year. Even the big kids had to look hard! Here we all are gathered around listening to the clues. Natalie was in charge of the treats this year. We had a lot of color in things. The kids had blast decorating their own bags, stickers, and beach balls.
Saturday night the kids challenged the adults to a game of foot ball. The kids won! The adults demanded a new try. Sunday after church they all met on the field again. I believe the kids won, again. Here, Aaron is running it in for a touchdown. He was sad, because the night before he never got the ball. I'm glad they had two games.
Dustin is giving Aaron some pointers. After the kids won, again, they played a game for fun. The teams were mixed, and everyone got a chance to make a play. Jace mad a great throw, and Hailey carried the ball 10 yards with the help of her dad.
Ryan was a great contributor in the first game. He said these gloves were a big help. I guess he could catch the ball better. Even the older kids commented on how well he caught the ball!
You might recognize some people in this picture who do not belong in our family. The Duves came and visited us Sunday. Ryan Duve grew up with my brother Kevin. They came to see him and visit with us. It was fun to have them. They joined in the Sunday football game. i don't have pictures, but we threw our niece, Marie, a college shower. She was able to get quite a few things to prepare her for moving from home.
Aaron wanted a picture with Cricket. Clay brought his dog. The poor thing almost froze to death I'm afraid. It was quite cold this year, and he had to stay outside.
Later, Sunday evening, we had out talent show. Jeff and Trevor sang a song. Robyn read a poem. Kevin did an ape walk. Jace showed us how strong he was. Audrey and Ben did a karate routine. Audrey accidentally kicked him where it counts! He survived. Ryan played his recorder. Brayden sang "If Your Happy and You Know It." All the cousins did a little skit at the end. That is what this is a picture of. Megan and Abbey did a little skit of their own, it was really cute. They acted out all the stages of life. the picture below is of Kevin's ape walk. It's not a great shot, oh well.
We had such a good time. It was great to see everyone. I'm grateful I was able to spend time with my family.

What a fun time! By the end of the post, I was wishing I'd been there, and I'm not even part of your family! :)
Larae, something is wrong with your camera. It makes everyone look bigger than they are! I didn't even recognize that picture of me until I recognized Elijah. My butt looks HUGE!
We did have so much fun, didn't we?!
